CART Exhibit at National ADA Symposium & Expo

On April 10 and 11, 2006, the Missouri and Illinois Court Reporters Associations cosponsored an exhibitors booth on CART at the National ADA Symposium & Expo in St. Louis.  Expo participants marketed the latest disability-related products and services to access coordinators as well as end consumers.  Because CART is considered an approved assistive device under the provisions of the ADA, MO-ILCRA felt this event was a perfect showcase for CART service.

Our booth, entitled “CART:  From Hear to Here,” offered a live demonstration of CART and brochures on the service, our profession, and our reporting associations.  Attendees showed great interest in our profession, and we found many of them were already aware of CART and utilizing the service.

MCRA would like to give special thanks to Amy Haught, President of the Illinois Court Reporters Association, who did much of the work in setting up the booth.  We also thank Traci Butz, Carla Campbell, Judy Larson, Faith Olliges, Kimberly Pfleinger Schacht, and Patti White, who lent their experience and skill in manning the booth.
